Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra in Banff
This September the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing an outdoor concert in Banff. It is taking place on the afternoon of September 17 at the Banff Centre, in the newly renovated Shaw Amphitheatre.
Imagine relaxing in the Rockies, enjoying our amazing views and listening to Beethoven's "Symphony No. 6". The Orchestra is led by Melanie Leonard and this program features one of Banff's own, Shauna Rolston. Shauna has been playing the cello since her second birthday, when her father gave her a customized cello that was one-eighth the size of a regular cello.
Special packages are available for the weekend including a pre-show reception, VIP seating and a post-show dinner. Tickets are $49 for adults and $45 for senior/students. Call the Banff Centre Box Office at 1-800-413-8368 to reserve your tickets.
