Delirium Dive at Sunshine Village

I spend most of my time skiing at Sunshine Village; it is close to Banff (20 minute drive) and has a huge variety of terrain. I am a more cautious skier and there are so many Intermediate Runs at Sunshine that I enjoy.

Banff/Lake Louise has had some of the best snow in the last five years this season and as a result, the Delirium Dive at Sunshine Village is officially open. I have never attempted "The Dive", but know many who have and everyone says it is just such a rush.

There is 600 acres to ski on and 2000 feet of vertical. If you choose to ski the Delirium Dive, please ensure you have the necessary avalanche equipment. You must have an avalanche beacon, shovel, probe and ski with at least one other person. FYI that hazards are not marked (rocks, cliffs, etc) and the conditions change constantly (due to avalanche danger). Ski conditions can be found by calling 1-403-762-4754.
