Lake Louise Gondola
I recently had the opportunity to check out the Lake Louise Gondola and visit their Grizzly Bear Sightseeing and Interpretive Centre. I unfortunately didn't see any animals, but the view is incredible! This photo of Lake Louise is taken from the Wildlife Interpretive Centre and if you look really closely, you can see the Chateau Lake Louise:

When you arrive at the base, you receive a short orientation presentation that provides information on the area. You then take either a gondola or chair lift (your choice) up to the Interpretive Centre, which is at 6850 feet. I really enjoyed the Interpretive Centre; there is a lot of interesting information about the different animals in the area. You also have the chance to listen to the Interpretive Guides leading various programs about the area's history, animals, environmental initiatives and much more.

We took the Gondola up and a chair lift down and it seriously snowed on us on the way down. I definitely recommend taking the chair lift at least one way; it was a cool feeling being on a chair lift in regular clothing and not your ski gear :)
The gondola is open until September 26th, when it closes down to prepare for the winter ski season. It re-opens in May and I highly recommend checking it out if you can! Their website is http://www.lakelouisegondola.com/
