Spring is Here!
Saturday March 20th was the official first day of spring, but to me the real sign that spring is here is when you see your first yard sale sign. So it seemed very appropriate that I walked by my first yard sale of the season on my way to work this past Saturday :)
We have been really lucky to have had spring-like weather this past month. The temperature has been around zero, town is almost snow-free and there is still lots of snow up on the mountains. The warm weather inspired me to go on my first official jog on this past Sunday. I usually run along the river by Central Park, then continue up to Surprise Corner. This is a gorgeous walk or run for anyone in town. There is an amazing view of the Banff Springs from Surprise Corner, as well you are able to see Bow Falls.
I feel so lucky to live in Banff and have embraced the mountain lifestyle. Being able to hike Tunnel Mountain or going for a canoe ride after work is such a privilege and I am excited for all these activities to begin for another season!
